Welcome To Church

God comes to us in free and undeserved favor in the person of Jesus Christ who lived, died, and rose for us that we might belong to God and serve Christ in the world. Following Jesus, Catholics are engaged in the world and in seeking thoughtful solutions to the challenges of our time.

Catholics affirm that God comes to us with grace and love in the person of Jesus Christ, who lived, died, and rose for us so that we might have eternal and abundant life in him. As Christ’s disciples, called to ministry in his name, we seek to continue his mission of teaching the truth, feeding the hungry, healing the broken, and welcoming strangers.

ST JOHN BOSCO COLLEGE

Our Friends of St John Bosco College hosted a fabulous Mother’s Day breakfast in honour of all our mums and significant women in the lives of our students – this was extremely well attended and was a credit to both the organisers and the participants. Mothers, grandmothers, aunts, significant women and our own important people, the children, were treated to a wonderful array of delicious morning treats! It is celebrations like these where one can see the fabric of the community – this is close, well knit and well supported. I sincerely thank all involved!

As we prepare to celebrate the Feast of Pentecost, we are also working with our Year 4 students as they will soon be focussing on the Sacrament of the Eucharist and preparing to receive Jesus for the very first time. A very special time in their lives!

Should you be interested, our next College tour will be on Tuesday 29 May at 4.00pm. You may contact the College and book a place for this, or simply come along and join the group on the day. You will be made very welcome, and I’m certain you will be delighted to view our College.
